At the end of 2025, Clear Wax Solutions owner Steve Durham decided to it was time to retire and passed the reins on to Terrie Tucker-Holmes, owner of Holmes Ear Care.
Terrie-May’s introduction into healthcare was in a slightly different industry – music! Having sung all her life, including in the West End and for cruise ship companies such as P&O and Holland America Line, she decided to create and perform a range of shows for nursing homes and care facilities. In a bid to understand her clientele and their needs better, she undertook qualifications in Dementia Care and developed a deep passion for serving vulnerable populations.
In 2023, she started Holmes Ear Care with her husband Liam after also completing her Otoscopy and Microsuction training. As a sufferer of tinnitus herself, she understands all too well the struggle some people face with health problems related to ears and hearing and is keen to help patients within the community.
Having taken over Clear Wax Solutions, Terrie is fully trained and insured to perform both Microsuction and Irrigation in the comfort of your own home.
